Wilmington Police have arrested a man on gun and drug charges.
On October 11, at approximately 11:00 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division conducted a vehicle stop in the 2500 block of North Market Street. Police made contact with the driver – 45-year-old Antoine Hickman. Following a brief investigation, Hickman was taken into custody without incident, and police recovered a loaded 9mm handgun, and 24 grams of marijuana.
Hickman has been charged with the following offenses in addition to traffic violations:
- Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited – Three Counts
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
- Possession of Marijuana
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was released on $13,000 secured bail.
