Activity for October 17, 2024. Officers responded to 72 calls for service, made 9 arrests, and 13 traffic stops.
Activity for October 17, 2024:
- Officer Bean, Detective Brooks, and Sergeant Grove responded to the 700 block of Bush Street to assist JSO with recovering stolen property. Multiple suspects have been identified. The investigation is ongoing.
- Officer Frazier was dispatched to the 200 block of South Mechanic Street for disorderly subjects. A 30-year-old female was arrested on multiple outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
- Officer Frazier conducted a traffic stop at Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and East Louis Glick Highway. The 29-year-old male driver was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers visited with students at multiple schools during the day.
- Officer Mills conducted a traffic stop near East Michigan Avenue and South East Avenue. The 21-year-old male driver was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Officer Tripp made contact with subjects in the 300 block of North Wisner Street. A 48-year-old female was arrested for possession of narcotics. Charges will be sought on a 46-year-old female for carrying a concealed weapon.
- Officer Tripp conducted a traffic stop at East Michigan Avenue and Page Avenue. The 38-year-old male driver was arrested for possession of narcotics and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. A 34-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Sergeant Thoresen conducted a traffic stop at North West Avenue and Sparks Street. The 39-year-old male driver received a citation for displaying an improper license plate. A 35-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the area of Homecrest Road and West Louis Glick Highway. A 39-year-old male was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, and resisting and obstructing. Another 39-year-old male was arrested for resisting and obstructing. A 34-year-old female received a citation for resisting and obstructing.
