* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, northeast, and southeast New Mexico, including the following areas, in central New Mexico, Central Highlands and Eastern Lincoln County. In east central New Mexico, Curry County, De Baca County, Guadalupe County, Quay County and Roosevelt County. In northeast New Mexico, Eastern San Miguel County, Far Northeast Highlands, Harding County, Northeast Highlands and Union County. In southeast New Mexico, Chaves County Plains and Southwest Chaves County.

* WHEN...From 6 AM MDT this morning through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Widespread moderate to heavy rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected through Sunday morning, with additional rainfall possible through Sunday afternoon and Sunday night. Thunderstorms with heavy rainfall rates today may transition to a large area of heavy rain through tonight.
