* At 1014 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles west of Quay, or 17 miles southwest of Tucumcari, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include... Tucumcari. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 321 and 345. State Road 104 between Mile Markers 101 and 105.
* AFFECTED AREAS: QUAY, NM
