October 18, 2024:
- Officer Soloman conducted a traffic stop at Wilkins Street and South Jackson Street. The 32-year-old male driver was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Officer Cantu responded to the 1600 block of Lansing Avenue for a warrant pick-up. A 24-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Cadet Smith attended a Trunk or Treat at the Salvation Army.
- Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of West Michigan Avenue for a domestic dispute. A 52-year-old female was arrested for conditional bond violation.
- Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 200 block of Orange Street. A 19-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
- Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of North Webster Street for disorderly subjects. A 26-year-old male was arrested for disorderly conduct; resisting and obstructing; assaulting a police officer; and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Officers responded to the Jackson Crossing Mall for a suspicious situation. A 43-year-old male was arrested on several outstanding warrants.
- Officer Vernier was dispatched to a traffic crash near West Michigan Avenue and Wildwood Avenue. The 24-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
- Officers responded to North Blackstone Street and Van Buren Street for a personal welfare check.
- Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of North East Avenue for a deer that jumped through a window. Officers and Animal Control Officers were able to remove it from the building.
- Officer Frazier responded to the 1700 block of Fourth Street for a personal welfare check. A 28-year-old male was transported to the hospital.
- Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of East Washington Avenue for disorderly subjects. A 23-year-old male was arrested for disorderly conduct.
- Officer Reasoner responded to the 600 block of Chester Street for a stolen vehicle report. The vehicle was entered into the national database as stolen.
- Officer Vernier investigated a domestic incident that occurred in the 300 block of Union Street. Officers were unable to locate the 38-year-old female suspect.
- Officer Goings was dispatched to the 900 block of North West Avenue for a suspicious situation.
- Officer Marcum responded to an assault that occurred in the 400 block of North West Avenue.
- Officer Schram was dispatched to the 200 block of West Morrell Street for a weapons complaint. A 24-year-old male was arrested for armed robbery and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
