Hydrant Flushing Alert
The City of Belleville will be conducting hydrant flushing to maintain our water system over the next two weeks. Please be aware of the following potential issues:
Discolored Water: Your water may appear rusty or cloudy. This is normal and not harmful. Simply let your tap run for a few minutes until it clears.
Low Water Pressure: Temporary drops in water pressure might occur during flushing in your area.
Laundry Precaution: We recommend avoiding doing laundry, especially light-colored items, while flushing is underway to prevent staining.
