Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé requests the public’s help identifying the suspects pictured below, who used a victim’s credit cards stolen from her vehicle on October 5, 2024.
The victim left her purse containing several credit cards inside her vehicle that she parked, possibly unlocked, at 10:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Richelieu Terrace. She later received notifications that her credit cards were used at the Cloud 9 Smoke Shop and Royal Taste of Caribbean Restaurant on Myrtle in Irvington. The suspects were captured on surveillance video making purchases at both businesses.
Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the suspect’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are confidential and could result in a reward.
