Drug Take Back Day is this Saturday! Safely Dispose of Unwanted Pills & Patches 
This Saturday, bring your unused, unwanted, or expired pills and/or patches to our 2nd DEA Drug Take Back event of the year. We'll be at the San Mateo Elks Lodge (229 W. 20th Ave.) from 10a-2p on October 26th.
By safely disposing your unneeded medication this way, you are helping to keep prescription drugs out of the wrong hands, and out of our landfills and waterways.
In April, 4607 law enforcement agencies participated in the 1st #TakeBackDay of the year, and were at 4869 collection sites, collecting 335 tons of pills. Since the inception of this event, a total of 9285 tons of prescription medication has been collected and safely disposed of.
