The Novato Police Department received a report from the family of a 12-year-old in a relationship with a 20-year-old. The suspect was identified as Novato resident, Kevin Danilo Sajche-Tecum. NPD Officers learned Sajche-Tecum contacted the victim on social media and initiated a relationship. Sajche-Tecum sexually assaulted the victim after requesting they meet at a local park.
 
Yesterday (10/22) around 3:45PM, detectives from the Novato Police Department went to Sajche-Tacum's residence on Green Oak Dr. He was located at his home and placed under arrest. During a search of Sajche-Tecum's phone, detectives located child sexual abuse material.

Sajche-Tecum was transported to Marin County Jail and booked on several charges including lewd acts with a child under the age of 14, soliciting a minor with the intent to commit sexual acts, possession of child pornography, and violation of probation.
 
The Novato Police Department investigates sexual assaults crimes, especially those against children, to the fullest extent. We would like to thank the witnesses and victim of this case for their cooperation and assistance. Victims of sexual assault are encouraged to speak with an officer and make a report with the Novato Police Department.
