Single Vehicle Crash Leaves Driver Deceased; Cause of Crash Under Investigation

LOCATION: Air Expressway / Nevada Avenue, Victorville
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at approximately 5:56 a.m., deputies from the Victorville Station, and rescue personnel from the Victorville Fire Department and American Medical Response, responded to a single vehicle crash which occurred in the area of Air Expressway and Nevada Avenue, in the city of Victorville. Upon arrival, deputies determined a blue Chevrolet Silverado was involved in the crash. Medical personnel transported the adult male driver of the vehicle to a local hospital with severe injuries. The driver was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The Victorville Major Accident Investigation Team assumed the investigation. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
The identity of the deceased is being witheld, pending next of kin notification.
