A controlled burn is taking place today (10/24) and tomorrow (10/25) between Bay Vista apartments and Marin Valley Country Club. Those in the area will most likely see or smell smoke.
The burn is part of a larger effort to reduce the fuel load in this area, which will ultimately help prevent more significant and potentially dangerous fires in the future.
