Early voting begins Saturday, Oct. 26; Upcoming COVID-19 and flu vaccination clinics

Early voting begins Saturday, Oct. 26 

Registered voters are reminded that early voting for the upcoming election will begin on Saturday, Oct. 26, and will run through Sunday, Nov. 3. Residents of Hoboken and Hudson County can cast their ballots at any of the 27 designated early voting locations across the county. No appointment is needed. 

Hoboken’s early voting location is City Hall, 94 Washington St. Please enter via the Newark Street entrance.  

Early voting hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
 
Vote-by-mail instructions
 
By mail: A voter may vote by mail by completing the Application for Vote by Mail Ballot and returning the application to the County Clerk’s Office, either in-person or by mail. To receive your ballot by mail, the application must be received by the County Clerk 7 days prior to the election.

In-person: For those who wish to apply for a Vote-by-Mail ballot in person, the Division of Elections office, located at 257 Cornelison Ave., 4th Floor, Jersey City, will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The deadline to apply in person for a Vote-by-Mail ballot is Monday, Nov. 4, by 3 p.m. Extended hours will be available on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Election Day in-person voting

Residents can also cast their ballot at their registered polling place on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

COVID-19 and flu vaccination clinic Monday

The City of Hoboken and the Division of Health are partnering with Medicine Man Pharmacy to host two upcoming COVID-19 and flu vaccination clinics, on Monday, Oct. 28 and Nov. 12, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Multi-Service Center, 124 Grand St.

Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 shots, as well as seasonal flu vaccines, will be available to residents 12 years old and older. Insurance is required for both; however limited flu vaccinations are available for those without insurance.

In addition, the City of Hoboken and Hudson Regional Health Commission, will continue to host monthly free pop-up Covid and flu vaccine clinics, with the next event scheduled for Nov. 21, from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Multi-Service Center. For more information, head to: HudsonCountyVax.org.
