Deputies Investigate and Locate Appliances Stolen from Newly Built Homes

INCIDENT: PC 496(A): POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY
LOCATION: 7300 Block of Salem Avenue, Hesperia
SUSPECT: Pablo Marquez, 55-years-old, Resident of Hesperia
SUMMARY:
On Monday, October 21, 2024, at 8:48am, deputies arrested Pablo Marquez for possession of stolen property at his residence in the 7300 block of Salem Avenue in Hesperia.
Edgewood Homes of Redondo Beach had multiple newly remodeled homes burglarized in the Murietta and Temecula communities. Each of the homes was equipped with new whirlpool kitchen appliance sets valued at $3700.00. The sets included a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove and microwave
On October 19, 2024, a vacant residence on Chauncy Way in Temecula was burglarized and the whirlpool appliance set was stolen. Deputy M. Leiker was contacted because it was believed the items were being transported to the high desert. Through the investigation, Deputy Leiker located the stolen items at a residence in the 7300 block of Salem Avenue in the county area of Hesperia. A search warrant was executed at the residence and the stolen items were recovered inside a van on the property.
Pablo Marquez was arrested without incident and booked at the High Desert Detention Center.
