The NJ Forest Fire Service has issued mandatory statewide Stage 3 fire RESTRICTIONS due to persistent dry conditions and increased wildfire risks. The restrictions ban wood and charcoal fires, including keroses or gas torches. Only fires in elevated stoves using propane, natural gas, or electricity are permitted. This ban applies to ALL public and private lands across New Jersey. While we understand we are approaching the celebration of Diwali, we kindly request that ALL residents REFRAIN from using any type of fireworks to ensure everyones safety.
