Monroe Township OEM wants you to celebrate safely!
Due to the ongoing drought and the extreme fire danger in effect for all counties in New Jersey, the State Division of Fire Safety (NJDFS) has implemented a ban on bonfires and firework displays in New Jersey Forest Fire Service (NJFFS) primary response areas.
As we approach the Celebration of Diwali, we kindly request that ALL residents REFRAIN from using any type of fireworks, open flames etc., including legal fireworks, to ensure everyone's safety.
