INCIDENT: FATAL CRASH
LOCATION: NISQUALLI ROAD/ NINTH AVENUE, VICTORVILLE
VICTIM(S): MALE RESIDENT OF HESPERIA
SUMMARY: On Saturday, October 26, 2024, at about 5:35 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Station, along with Victorville Fire Department and American Medical Response personnel, responded to the area of Nisqualli Road and Ninth Avenue in Victorville for a two-vehicle crash. Upon arrival, it was determined that a gray Honda Pilot and a blue Yamaha R6 crashed in the westbound lanes of Nisqualli Road, west of Ninth Avenue. The driver of the Yamaha sustained major injuries and was transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Victorville Major Accident Investigation Team arrived on scene and assumed the investigation. The driver of the Honda remained on scene and cooperated with investigators.
Nisqualli Road between Eleventh Avenue and Ninth Avenue was closed for several hours.
