Road Closure Washington Street is being repaved beginning on October 28th. Please move cars! ASAP or be towed. Washington Street Road Closure The Cape May Police Department posted "No Parking" signs along Washington Street all week. No Parking will begin on Sunday October 27th. No parking begins a day early so we can work with residents to relocate vehicles to avoid towing. If you have a vehicle in a driveway on Washington Street, you should move your vehicle on Sunday. We recommend parking your vehicle off-site to guarantee access to your vehicle. You can park in the surrounding residential area at any legal spot, or you can utilize the field on Lafayette Street near the elementary school. Washington Street will be closed during this project and will not be reopened until the work is complete.
