The City of Carmi and Carmi Light and Water will be closed December 24-26, 2025 for the Christmas Holiday.
The City dumpsters and yard waste site will be closed on Saturday, December 27, 2025. The yard waste site will be closed for the winter beginning January 2, 2026.
Trash schedule week of December 21: Trash will run on normal schedule on Tuesday, December 23 and Wednesday, December 24. Those with a normal Thursday or Friday trash pick up should put their trash out on Friday, December 26. Anything not picked up on Friday will be picked up on Saturday, December 27.
