INCIDENT: Possession of a Ghost Gun and a Controlled Substance
LOCATION: Flag Hill Veterans Memorial Park, 35626 Yucaipa Blvd., Yucaipa
SUSPECT: Sam Alexander Peralta, 50-year-old, resident of Highland
SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at about 6:13 p.m., members of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Yucaipa Station, conducted a targeted crime suppression operation in Yucaipa.
During the operation, investigators contacted Sam Alexander Peralta in the parking lot of Flag Hill Veterans Memorial Park. During the contact, Peralta was found to be on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS), in possession of a concealed illegal ghost gun, ammunition and suspected illicit narcotics. Peralta was arrested and booked into Central Detention Center for H.S. 11370.1(A) - Possession of a Controlled Substance While Armed and a Probation Violation.
