INCIDENT: P.C. 664/187- Attempted Murder
LOCATION: La Mesa Road/Amethyst Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Osvaldo Languren Barraga, 24-year-old Resident of Adelanto
SUMMARY: On Friday, October 25, 2024, at approximately 8:58 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department were dispatched to La Mesa Road and Amethyst Road for a traffic collision.
When deputies arrived on scene, they identified a Mercedes and Nissan as involved vehicles. It was discovered the driver of the Nissan, Osvaldo Languren Barraga, was involved in a car-to-car shooting moments prior to the traffic accident. A handgun was located in Barraga’s vehicle. Barraga was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, for P.C. 664/187- Attempted Murder.
