NJ Drought Fire Restrictions, including fireworks ban 
The New Jersey Forest Fire Service (NJFFS) has implemented Stage 3 burn restrictions due to the extreme drought conditions statewide, including a mandatory ban on bonfires, the discharging of fireworks including Diwali celebrations, and the use of any open flame or flame-producing device, in connection with any public gathering, for purposes of entertainment, amusement, or recreation.
Due to the fire restrictions, Elmwood Cemetery’s Luminary Lights of Remembrance scheduled for Sunday, November 3rd is POSTPONED until restrictions are lifted.
