We are partnering with California Highway Patrol to bring you FREE Car Seat Inspections on Saturday, November 9th from 9-1pm. You must register for an appointment to attend. Registration can be made for appointments between 9-12pm. Should your seat need some adjustments, appointments can take up to 45 minutes. If your seat is perfect, we'll let you know and you'll be on your way.

This event will be held in the parking lot of the Beresford Recreation Center at 2720 Alameda de las Pulgas. We will have our Certified Inspectors (our CSO's) joining CHP's Certified Inspectors to ensure that your little ones are riding safely when in your vehicle.

Current California Car Seat Law states:
Children under 2 years of age SHALL ride in a rear-facing car seat unless the child weighs 40 or more pounds, or is 40in or more tall. (27360 CVC)
Children under the age of 8 MUST be secured in a car seat or booster seat in the back seat.
Children who are 8 years of age or have reached 4'9" in height may be secured by a booster seat, BUT at a minimum, MUST be secured by a safety belt. (27363 CVC)
Passengers who are 16 years of age and over are subject to California's MANDATORY Seat Belt law.
