Update 10/30/24 5:00pm Residents may continue to see smoke and flames from the ongoing fire. The Voorhees Fire Department, along with mutual aid departments and the New Jersey Forest Fire Service, are actively fighting a large brush fire at the Evesham/Voorhees border. The Forest Fire Service is conducting a backfire operation to help contain the blaze, so residents should expect to observe smoke and fire activity. At this time, no evacuations are necessary.
