LOCATION: Mc Art Road/ Seneca Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Joedie Ian Clemons, 19-year-old Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at approximately 3:39 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Sheriff’s Station initiated a traffic stop on a 2021 Toyota sedan; however, the driver failed to yield and led deputies on a pursuit.
Joedie Ian Clemons fled at a high rate of speed and disregarded public safety by driving on opposing lanes of traffic. The vehicle came to a stop after it collided with a parked vehicle at the intersection of West Trail and Summer Wind. Clemons fled from the vehicle on foot but was located moments later.
Joedie Ian Clemons was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, for V.C. 2800.2(A)- Evading Police and V.C. 20002- Non-Injury Hit and Run.
