Deputies Apprehend Motorcycle Rider after Pursuit in Yucca Valley and Find Him in Possession of a Firearm and Drugs

SUSPECT(S): Natividad Fonseca, 43-year-old male resident of San Jacinto
VICTIM(S): The State Of California
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, deputies responded to the report of a motorcycle disturbance near Warren Vista and Yucca Trail in Yucca Valley. Upon arrival, they observed a motorcycle and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The driver of the motorcycle initially yielded, then fled from deputies, and a vehicle pursuit ensued. The driver, identified as Natividad Fonseca, a 43-year-old male resident of San Jacinto, led deputies on an approximate 24-mile-long pursuit before he drove off the roadway near 29 Palms Highway and Utah Trail in the City of 29 Palms. Fonseca lost control of the Motorcycle, fled on foot, and was taken into custody moments after a short foot pursuit.
Fonseca possessed a loaded firearm, controlled substance, resealable bags, different denominations of money, and a scale for the sale and distribution of narcotics. Fonseca was booked at West Valley Detention Center.
