Organized Retail Theft Arrests at Vintage Oaks Lead to Recovery of Weapons and Drugs
On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, around 2:30PM, Novato Police Officers were in the Vintage Oaks area, investigating another theft case, that occurred at Target. At the same time, employees at the DSW store reported a theft in progress to Novato Police Dispatchers. Officers arrived to DSW within minutes and detained four suspects related to the theft. Investigation revealed the following suspects worked together to steal merchandise from DSW:
- Alexander Armenta: a 42-year-old San Pablo resident. Arrested for organized retail theft, conspiracy, resisting arrest, providing false identification, and violation of Post Release Community Supervision.
- Donnalee Encinas: 41-year-old Hercules resident. Arrested for organized retail theft and conspiracy.
- Sameria Lee: a 49-year-old Richmond resident. Arrested for organized retail theft and conspiracy.
- Willie Johnson Jr: a 50-year-old Oakland resident. Arrested for organized retail theft, conspiracy, unlawful possession of pepper spray, possession of a switchblade knife, and possession of drugs.
All four suspects were safely booked into the Marin County Jail.
