...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of Central and South Central Kansas, including 
  the following counties, in Central Kansas, Chase and Marion. In 
  South Central Kansas, Butler, Harvey, Kingman and Sedgwick.
* WHEN...Until 330 PM CDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 723 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    training rain showers and thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing
    or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2
    and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in
    the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Wichita, Park City, Valley Center, Goddard, Maize, Cheney,
    Colwich, Peabody, Garden Plain, Whitewater, Kechi, Potwin,
    Walton, Elbing, Burns, Murdock, Lake Afton and Wonsevu.

Instructions:

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't
drown.
