* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 6 inches below 8000 feet and 6 and 14 inches above 8000 feet. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
* WHERE...East Slopes Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and Johnson and Bartlett Mesas Including Raton Pass.
* WHEN...From 2 AM to 5 PM MST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Tire traction will be reduced. Extend the distance between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you. This includes along portions of I-25. Blowing snow could reduce visibility below 1/2 mile at times, particularly at Raton Pass Monday morning and afternoon.
