Yorktown Citizens' Veterans Day Parade will be held today at 2:00 pm between Lakeland High School and the John C. Hart Memorial Library on East Main Street in Shrub Oak.  For the safety of all participants and observers, East Main St. will be CLOSED TODAY AT APPOXIMATELY 1:45 pm at the following locations:

• Lakeland High School west entrance (access to Shrub Oak Shopping Center will remain open)
• Wynwood Oaks
• Stoney St.
• Stonegate Rd.
• New Rd.
• Dane St.
• Frost Rd.
• Sunnyside Ave. (westbound traffic will be diverted onto Route 6)

At the conclusion of the parade, East Main St. will remain CLOSED from New Rd. to Sunnyside Ave. until approximately 4:00 pm.  Please expect delays in the area and plan to use alternate routes.
