Newark Firefighters and Police Rescue Man After He Had Fallen into Passaic River
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé announces that Newark Firefighters and Police rescued a 23-year-old man who had fallen into the Passaic River on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
At approximately 10:22 p.m., Firefighters and Police responded to the Passaic River at Jersey Street and Raymond Boulevard on a call of a man in the water. The victim was safely rescued and transported to University Hospital for treatment. He is reportedly in stable condition.
