Advisory

National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) - Letter to Owners

Flood Sign

The City of Port Richey will mail notices to homes that may have sustained damage during Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The purpose of this notice is that your property may have sustained damage during
recent flood events and is located within an area subject to floodplain regulations. The City understands that this is a challenging situation, and is committed to guiding you through this process.

Please note that most of the repair work will require a permit if your property is located within the Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA). Most of the west side of US 19 properties are within the SFHA.

For more information, please confirm whether your address is located within the SFHA, and please visit cityofportrichey.gov. You can also reach us at
727-816-1900 #2, email [email protected], or visit our office Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
