Press Release: Traffic Collision Goodwin Ave & Virginia Ave. 
SUBJECT: Traffic Collision
LOCATION: Goodwin Avenue at Virginia Avenue, Redwood City
DATE/TIME: November 3, 2024, 4:44 pm
On 11/03/2024, at approximately 1655 hours, Redwood City Police Department Officers were dispatched to a report of a solo vehicle collision into a light pole and a fence in the 2000 block of Goodwin Avenue. Arriving Officers found the driver unresponsive and trapped inside the vehicle. A juvenile passenger was unharmed. Members of the Redwood City Fire Department arrived and extracted the driver. Life-saving measures were started and the driver was transported to a local hospital where he was admitted for treatment.
At this time, there are no indications drugs, alcohol, or reckless driving were a cause or contributing factor to the collision. If you have any information regarding the collision, please contact Sergeant Peter Cang at 650-780-7159.
