Meramec River at Pacific. Meramec River near Arnold. River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Meramec River at Valley Park.
* WHEN...From this morning to Tuesday, November 12.
* IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, The flood gate at St. Louis Avenue in Valley Park is closed at this height. Near this height, Vance Road begins to flood from just outside of the flood gate to Highland Village and Soccer Park Road from Cassens Drive to Yarnell Road begins to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 AM CST Tuesday the stage was 12.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 26.6 feet Friday morning. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* AFFECTED AREAS: JEFFERSON, MO ... ST. LOUIS, MO
