Beginning Wednesday, November 6^th, at approximately 7:00 am, the City’s contractor Upstate Companies will be closing the intersection of Market Street and James Georgeson Avenue in order to allow paving operations from the intersection to David Brenner Road and from the intersection to Prospect St.  This work will occur between the hours of 7:00 am and 4:00 pm.  In addition, during this closure access along the section of Market Street near Prospect Street will be limited to one lane.  Also, some sidewalks will also be closed and there will be no on street parking in the immediate work areas.
 
Please avoid this area if at all possible.  Flaggers, temporary signage and barricades will be in place. Please exercise extreme caution and obey all traffic control devices.

The City will issue periodic project updates or changes via Nixle PSA as needed.
