After 50 years, our beloved "Chief's Secretary" (as known in the old days) retired and we are eager to find her replacement. We are looking to hire a new "Management Analyst" to provide support to the Chief of Police. This support may include responsibilities serving as the custodian of records, managing personnel files, writing agenda reports, preparing and delivering presentations to City Council, processing purchase orders, and acting as a Workday manager, amongst a host of other duties.

A Management Analyst is responsible for professional and technical administrative duties in providing staff assistance to departments and major divisions; conducts special studies, surveys and research assignment in a variety of administrative and operation procedures and topics, and performs related work as required.

This full-time position offers the following benefits:
*Salary: Management Analyst I $8,068 – $9,616/month; Management Analyst II $8,859 – $10,561/month

*CalPERS retirement (2% @ 55 for classic members; 2% @ 62 for new members). Classic employees contribute 8.34% to CalPERS and *New members contribute 7.50% to CalPERS
*Participation in the Social Security Program
*City contribution of 1.5% of base salary to a 457 Deferred Compensation Plan, and a 1.0% match to the Employee’s voluntary contribution.
*The City contributes 0.25% of base salary to a Retiree Health Savings Account
