LOCATION: Target, 19201 Bear Valley Road, Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): Joanna Marie Allison, 40-year-old female of Hesperia
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, October 31, 2024, deputies were dispatched to a report of a shoplifting at Target located on Bear Valley Road in the Town of Apple Valley.
Deputy K. Mammolito arrived on scene at approximately 3:30 pm and contacted loss prevention at the store. Deputy Mammolito learned the suspect, identified as Joanna Allison, concealed items and pushed past loss prevention employees as she exited the store. Allison was detained by store employees and was arrested by Deputy Mammolito.
Allison was booked into High Desert Detention Center on a charge of robbery. On Monday, November 4, 2024, the Victorville District Attorney’s office filed misdemeanor charges against Allison for PC 459.5 – Shoplifting; PC 242 – Assault; HS 11364(a) – Possession of Narcotic Paraphernalia; and HS 11377(a) – Possession of a Controlled Substance.
