INCIDENT: Fatal Traffic Collision
LOCATION: Mojave Drive and Village Drive
VICTIM(S): Manuel Rivera, 45-years-old, Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Saturday, November 2, 2024, at approximately 6:23 PM, deputies from the Victorville Police Station, and rescue personnel from the Victorville Fire Department responded to a vehicle versus bicycle crash in the area of Mojave Drive and Village Drive, in Victorville. Upon arrival, deputies determined a bicyclist, identified as Manuel Rivera, collided with a GMC Sierra. Rivera sustained major injuries and was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the GMC Sierra remained on scene and cooperated with deputies. The Victorville Major Accident Investigation Team responded and assumed the investigation.
