Fire Chief declares Red Flag Alert for Sierra Madre until 6:00 pm Thursday, November 24. No parking permitted on designated streets. 
The National Weather Service is forecasting a RED FLAG WARNING for Wednesday, November 6, 2024 through Thursday, November 7, 2024, due to Santa Ana Winds and very low humidity the San Gabriel Mountain area.
Sierra Madre Fire Chief Bartlett has declared a Red Flag Alert in Sierra Madre to ensure that public safety and public works vehicles can access those neighborhoods in pre-determined high-risk areas.
Parking on the following streets is prohibited beginning Wednesday, November 6, at 4:00 am through 6:00 pm on Thursday, November 7, 2024:
(1) Mount Wilson Trail;
(2) Churchill Road;
(3) Skyland Drive;
(4) Fern Glen;
(5) Fern Drive;
(6) Idle Hour;
(7) Canyon Crest Drive;
(8) Orange Drive;
(9) Woodland Drive;
(10) Brookside Lane;
(11) Sunnyside Lane;
(12) Yucca Trail;
(13) Holly Trail;
(14) Sturtevant; and
(15) Elm.
Instructions:
Red Flag Alert issued for Sierra Madre until Thursday, November 7, 2024. Keep all designated streets clear to allow access to emergency vehicles.
