Meramec River near Steelville. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Missouri... Meramec River at Fenton. Meramec River near Eureka. Meramec River near Sullivan. Meramec River near Arnold. River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours.

* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Meramec River at Valley Park.

* WHEN...Until Tuesday, November 12.

* IMPACTS...At 33.0 feet, Old Highway 141 is closed at Gravois Road and at Gravois Bluffs Blvd. This impact level may vary depending on the crest difference of the Mississippi River at St. Louis from 30.8 ft, the March 2008 crest.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CST Tuesday the stage was 16.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 33.2 feet Friday evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday morning. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 33.0 feet on 05/03/1983.
