State of New Jersey – Stage 3 Fire Restriction
Due to extreme dry conditions across the region, combined with the abundance of dry fuel in the form of falling leaves, in agreement with the New Jersey Forest Fire Service, the City of Asbury Park Bureau of Fire Prevention has placed a ban on ALL open fires, fire pits, and charcoal grills. Only propane fires are permitted. This ban is in effect until further notice.
