* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Callahan, Coke, Fisher, Haskell, Irion, Jones, Nolan, Runnels, Shackelford, Sterling, Taylor, Throckmorton and Tom Green.

* WHEN...From this evening through Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Numerous showers and thunderstorms are forecast to develop across the Big Country and western Concho Valley this evening into the afternoon hours Friday. Heavy rainfall is expected with 1 to 3 inches likely across the watch area, although localized amounts of 4 inches or more are possible. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
