**Community Alert: Vehicle Larceny Warning**

Attention Residents:

We’ve received reports of individuals targeting local neighborhoods, searching for unlocked vehicles to steal items left inside late at night. Please Help prevent theft by taking these precautions:

• **Lock your vehicles** every time you park, especially overnight.
• **Remove or hide valuables** if you must leave them in your car. Commonly stolen items include loose change, phone chargers, CDs, GPS devices, sunglasses, wallets, purses, and even small electronics like earbuds.
• **Report any suspicious activity** to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office at (586) 469-5151 or dial 9-1-1 for immediate assistance.
