Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé requests the public’s help locating Edmundo Alfonso Morales, 66, of Roseland, who was reported missing on Friday, November 1, 2024 and last seen in Newark.
Mr. Morales, who is connected with the Ecuadorian Embassy, was reported missing at 11:15 p.m. and reportedly made suicidal threats to his family before he went missing. Mr. Morales’ phone was tracked to Mulberry Street and Edison Place in Newark, where his car was located with his wallet and phone inside.
Detectives investigating this incident describe Mr. Morales as 5’9” tall and 170 pounds. He was wearing a blue flannel plaid shirt, blue jeans, brown shoes, and a gold wedding band.
