Flood Advisory until 09:00PM Thursday

* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following county, Runnels.

* WHEN...Until 900 PM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 656 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms from Winters to Ballinger to Miles...moving northeast at 25 mph., This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ballinger, Winters, Miles, Hatchel, Benoit, Norton, Crews, Rowena, Ballinger Lake, Lake Winters Lake, Us-83 Near The Concho-Runnels County Line, Pumphrey and Drasco. - This includes the following Low Water Crossings... FM 1692 crossing The Draw, FM 0383 crossing Quarry Creek, CR 348 crossing Coyote Creek, County Road 328 crossing Big Coyote Creek, County Road 322 crossing Big Coyote Creek, County Road 314 crossing Bluff Creek, crossings along County Road 201, crossings along County Road 205, crossings along County Road 195 and crossings along County Road 328. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
