* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Coke, Coleman, Concho, Runnels and Tom Green.
* WHEN...Until 1030 AM CST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 730 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 4 and 8 inches of rain have fallen since Thursday evening. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ballinger, Paint Rock, Maverick, Bronte, Miles, Rowena, Hatchel, Lowake, Norton, Benoit, Tennyson, Talpa, Orient, Ballinger Lake, Us-83 Near The Concho-Runnels County Line, The Intersection Of Us-83 And Ranch Road 1929 and The Intersection Of Ranch Road 380 And Ranch Road 381. - This includes the following Low Water Crossings... FM 1692 crossing The Draw, FM 1692 crossing Concho River, FM 1929 crossing Fuzzy Creek, FM 0383 crossing Quarry Creek, Mule Creek Road crossing Mule Creek, Poverty Canyon crossing Mule Creek, Juniper crossing Juniper Creek, Juniper Road crossing just east of Highway 277, Saynor crossing Mule Creek and CR 348 crossing Coyote Creek. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
