Flood Advisory until 10:45AM

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Concho, Crockett, Irion, Schleicher, Sutton and Tom Green.

* WHEN...Until 1045 AM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 744 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 6 inches of rain have fallen since Thursday evening. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... San Angelo, Eldorado, Mertzon, Paint Rock, Christoval, Ozona, Knickerbocker, Tankersley, Twin Buttes Reservoir, Sherwood, Lake Nasworthy, Goodfellow Air Force Base, Arden, San Angelo State Park, O.C. Fisher Reservoir, Wall, Grape Creek, Carlsbad, Vancourt and Veribest. - This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 365 and 385. This includes the following Low Water Crossings... College Hills and Millbrook, Southwest Blvd and Loop 306, Howard and Webster, Jackson From Knickerbocker to South Bryant, FM 1692 crossing Concho River, FM 2334 crossing Ninemile Creek, RM 853 crossing Dry Draw, FM 1692 crossing The Draw, Ranch Road 859 crossing west Rocky Creek and FM 1692 crossing Sales Branch. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
