Wilmington Police arrest four on gun and drug charges, recover two firearms:
Wilmington Police have arrested four on gun and drug charges, and recovered two firearms.
On November 1 at approximately 6:19 p.m., members of the Safe Streets Task Force were in the 2700 block of North Market Street attempting to make contact with a wanted person. Police located the wanted subject, 19-year-old Muhammad Means of Bear, and took him into custody without incident.
Police located 2.22 grams of heroin, a loaded .45-caliber handgun and a loaded .380-caliber handgun, and took three additional subjects – 20-year-old Quadir Warren, 19-year-old Leroy Miles and 18-year-old Juaquin Miller into custody without incident.
Means has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
- Possession of a Firearm with an Obliterated Serial Number
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 2 Quantity
Warren has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
- Possession of a Firearm with an Obliterated Serial Number
Miles has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
- Possession of a Firearm with an Obliterated Serial Number
Miller has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
- Possession of a Firearm with an Obliterated Serial Number
