Flood Advisory until 01:45PM

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Coke, Coleman, Concho, Runnels and Tom Green.

* WHEN...Until 145 PM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1036 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 4 and 8 inches of rain have fallen since Thursday evening. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ballinger, Paint Rock, Maverick, Bronte, Miles, Rowena, Hatchel, Lowake, Benoit, Norton, Tennyson, Talpa, Orient, Ballinger Lake, Us-83 Near The Concho-Runnels County Line, The Intersection Of Us-83 And Ranch Road 1929 and The Intersection Of Ranch Road 1929 And Ranch Road 2134. - This includes the following Low Water Crossings... FM 1929 crossing Fuzzy Creek, FM 0383 crossing Quarry Creek, CR 348 crossing Coyote Creek, Poverty Canyon crossing Mule Creek, Saynor crossing Mule Creek, Juniper Road crossing just east of Highway 277, Ratliff crossing just east of Highway 277, Juniper crossing Juniper Creek, Marrow Loop crossing east Kicapoo Creek and Mule Creek Road crossing Mule Creek. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
