Rancho Cucamonga Man Arrested for October 23rd Bank Robbery

SUSPECT(S): William Fanning, Age 58, Resident of Rancho Cucamonga
VICTIM(S): Chase Bank
SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at approximately 5:02 PM, Rancho Cucamonga deputies responded to a call for service on the 8100 block of Milliken Avenue, reference a robbery. The reporting party advised dispatch a suspect passed a note to a bank teller, demanded money, then left the bank with a significant amount of cash.
Deputies and detectives conducted an extensive investigation and identified the suspect as William Fanning, a resident of Rancho Cucamonga. During the morning hours of November 8, 2024, members of the Rancho Cucamonga Detective Bureau located and arrested Fanning. Fanning was transported to the West Valley Detention Center where he was booked for PC 211- Robbery. Fanning remains in custody and his bail is set at $150,000.00.
