Smoke Advisory / Fire Restrictions 
Smoke will continue to blanket our area today due to several large brush fires that continue to burn. At this time any fires within West Milford are being handled by the New Jersey Forest Fire Service. At this time there are no threats to any structures or the public. Red flag conditions continue today and Stage 3 Fire Restrictions remain in effect. No burning is permitted except for gas, propane, or electric grills. These regulations are being strictly enforced. Violators can be fined up to $1200.
